Responding to the growing interest in mindfulness, The Art of Mindful Living offers a unique opportunity to develop and deepen the practice of mindfulness and compassionate living. This eight-week programme will integrate the core practices and findings from Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive, Compassion, Wisdom and Insight Traditions.
Learn short mindfulness practices and practical skills to support self-regulation and transform unhealthy habits of mind through awareness, choice, self-compassion and self-empathy. Develop skills of right concentration, stability of attention, focus and the integration of awareness through the practice of self-directed neuroplasticity.
The Art of Living Mindfully will support and nurture insights to align your daily practice with intention, values, gratitude, loving-kindness, and wise attention. Create a mindfulness roadmap that will change the brain through short practices such as grounding, emotional regulation, the calm response and core lifestyle skills training though the Art of Mindful Living.

Participants on this course will receive a copy of Meditation is Not What You Think, Mindfulness and Why It Is So Important by Jon Kabat-Zinn, notes, a set of 52 mindfulness cards and will meet for eight Thursday evenings (from 7pm to 9.30pm) and attend a one-day retreat
