Course commences Tuesday, 26th March 2019 from 7.00pm to 9.30pm for eight Tuesday evenings (until Tuesday, 14th May 2019) and includes one full day of practice. There are ten places available on this course.

Cost of training: €350 includes CDs, course notes, Mindfulness a Practice Guide to Finding Peace in a Frantic World, and 24 hours of mindfulness-based training, day of retreat and individual consultation with the trainer.

MIND – contemplative neuroscience training for psychotherapists and mental health professionals

As more and more therapists and mental health professionals are learning about interpersonal neurobiology and contemplative practices, there is an increasing desire to translate theoretical and philosophical principles into practical applications for use with clients.

Mind is a new programme which will help reinvigorate your practice as a mental health professional with the latest findings from neurobiology, contemplative science and evidence-based psychotherapy.

A Year of Living Mindfully (one-year programme) Monday monthly 2.5 hour meetings

Responding to the growing interest in mindfulness, A Year of Living Mindfully offers a unique opportunity to develop and deepen the practice of mindfulness and compassionate living. This year-long programme will integrate elements of Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Compassion and Wisdom approaches.

Participants on this course will receive a copy of A Year of Living Mindfully, notes, a set of 52 mindfulness cards and will meet one Monday evening per month for 12 months (from 7pm to 9.30pm) and attend two one-day retreats with the option of a one-to-one consultation with the teacher. The cost for the year-long programme is €395.

The Art of Mindful Living (Cork)

The Art of Living Mindfully will support and nurture insights to align your daily practice with intention, values, gratitude, loving-kindness, and wise attention. Create a mindfulness roadmap that will change the brain through short practices such as grounding, emotional regulation, the calm response and core lifestyle skills training though the Art of Mindful Living.

Participants on this course will receive a copy of Meditation is Not What You Think, Mindfulness and Why It Is So Important by Jon Kabat-Zinn, notes, a set of 52 mindfulness cards and will meet for eight Thursday evenings (from 7pm to 9.30pm) and attend a one-day retreat. Course commences on Thurs 17th January 2019, costing €350 per participant. There are 20 places on this course.

Anxiety and Panic, Retrain Your Brain and Body

During this six-week training, participants will have the opportunity to learn about common problems that often complicate anxiety and panic such as avoidance, rumination, self-criticism, and intrusive emotional memories. The training will be presented with a combination of seminar, discussion, meditation, emotional regulation exercises, visual and creative interventions, and reflection within a skills-based learning environment.

Course commences Wednesday, 27th March 2019 until Wednesday, 15th May 2019 from 10:30am to 1pm. There are eight places available on this course. Cost: €250
