Course commences Tuesday, 16th January 2018, from 10:30am to 1pm for eight Tuesday mornings, until Tuesday, 6th Match 2018 at 10 Merrion Square, Dublin 2. There are six places available on this course.

A Year of Living Mindfully (Cork, one-year programme) Friday monthly 2.5 hour meetings throughout the year

Responding to the growing interest in mindfulness, A Year of Living Mindfully offers a unique opportunity to develop and deepen the practice of mindfulness and compassionate living. This year-long programme will integrate elements of Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Compassion and Wisdom approaches.

Course commences on 2nd February 2018 and concludes on 7th December 2018. One Friday evening per week, including 2 retreat days (summer and winter).

Diploma in Teaching Mindfulness-Based Approaches commencing February 2018

Learn to teach mindfulness-based interventions such as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention (MBRP) in clinical or educational settings.

The training will be interactive, experiential, collaborative, and will draw on a model of participatory development, blended learning, research, practice and skills. An important part of the course is that trainees develop a daily personal mindfulness practice and organise placements in community, voluntary, charitable or NGO settings.

The programme seeks to meet the needs of experienced mental health professionals from a variety of settings who aim to enhance their practice and extend their professionalism to include the highest standards of teaching, dissemination and evaluation of mindfulness-based interventions.

One Sunday per month over 24 months and two residential retreats (August, 2018/2019). Total training 275 hours. Fee €750 per year, total training fee €1500.

Certificate in Mindfulness-Based Approaches and CBT in Adolescent Counselling and Classroom Applications

Ten-day programme, one Friday per month throughout the academic year. Dublin or Cork.

Join a group of mental health professionals, guidance counsellors, and educators to explore and learn proven and practical CBT and mindfulness interventions tailored specifically to treat the most frequently occurring emotional and behavioural problems with adolescents and young people.

Provide more balanced approaches to responding to life and helping shift the way teenagers perceive and apprise situations as stressful. The programme includes one-to-one interventions for therapists and a ten-session teaching programme Mindfulness in Transition for secondary schools.

New Year Retreat, 2017

The New Year Retreat is open and free to participants who completed eight-week Mindfulness training with the Mindfulness Clinic during 2015.

This one-day reflective retreat draws upon the world’s great meditative and wisdom traditions to present an engaging and practical programme with the invitation to wake up wholeheartedly to the abundantly, richly textured fabric of everyday life as our primary spiritual teacher

Mindfulness | Finding the Space

finding the space is designed to facilitate employees and volunteers to learn and enhance skills in self-awareness, resilience, reflective practice and authentic leadership. This course teaches core competencies from Mindfulness, CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (values and committed action, vision and mission).

The programme is fundamentally transformational and helps participants to develop reflective and philosophical skills to understand their role, presence, and leadership style. Learn essential skills for managing change through dialogue, reflective practice, inquiry, guided discovery and dialectical approaches (DBT, wise mind) by creating the space to lead.

The course runs on Tuesday afternoons from 2:30pm – 5pm, commencing on Tues 18th July and concluding on Tuesday 5th September. The course fee is €150 and includes course noes and certificates.
