The course has been excellent on all levels. The inputs presented in such an attractive visual way, the exercises and the resources given to participants to use in practice, all brought together by the facilitator who embodies mindfulness. The practice of mindfulness has been incorporated in my daily living. I am aware of the benefits. I also use the practices in my work with students. I am very grateful to have been a part of this group.
I have found this course of huge benefit both professional and personally. I have used exercises for myself and have found that these simple practices has really enhanced my work. The notes and learning was superb and in turn I am more creative with my client work. It has been so worth every penny. Probably the most beneficial part-time course I have ever attended. The facilitator shared endlessly his experience and his knowledge collected through his work, research and practice. A rare opportunity in education. Thank you.
What a wonderful experience. Theory, sharing, learning, and experiential. True learning, deep integration and rich understanding with invaluable insights into the how, why, when, who and what type of interventions to use with young people. A superb and deeply nourishing course of reflection on prior learning and linking theories with practices which will enrich my personal and professional life. Many thanks to the facilitator for his kindness, understanding, care, interest and gentleness. What a privilege to attend this outstanding course.
Very thorough, well prepared, generously resourced. Containment very strong. Good balance of thinking and experiential work.
What a wonderful course. Thank you. I highly recommend this training to others. I have hugely benefitted from the facilitators calm presence and the experiential aspect of the course. A deeply self-caring educational experience.
I loved the pace and mixture of learning methods including video, guidance, and experiential sharing. I learnt a lot although I do not work with under 18s, it has been very useful. The CBT component of the course is so different to other workshops I have attended. It is so practical, interesting and makes so much sense.
I found the course to be extremely useful and of great benefit personally in enhancing my selfcare and professionally with clients. Really enjoyed the facilitators presentation which was skilfully paced. A very informative course with a wide variety of handouts and resources.
Great course, strongly recommend it to colleagues. I am already applying it educational settings and I am receiving positive feedback from young people with improvements in school performance and behaviour.
I loved the experiential nature of the course. The facilitator has a fabulous mind and has a bottomless pit of information. This course embodied quality and integrity.
Really enjoyed the course, very nourishing for myself and lots of practical tools for working with adolescents and adult clients. Going away with lots of additional tools and resources. Superb delivery.
I had a wonderful experience throughout this course. I gained so much experience that I can take away into my practice. I strongly recommend this course. Once again thank you to the facilitator for putting himself right into the experience.
This has been a very informative and a very enjoyable experience of learning and practice. The information supplied has been superb and the online reading and references extremely useful. Guidance of mindfulness and meditation practice at each session put me at ease and prepared me for deeper listening.
My experience of this training has been very enjoyable. Every day, a new topic and theme with lots of practice. I loved the psychological, neuroscience and the research aspect of this training as it adds substance and deep understanding as to how the mind and body work together. I loved the videos, practical elements, painting and creative skills and tools to engage young people.
Where do I begin. I learned so much. I enjoyed every second of this course. I learned so much and I am passing on these skills and learning to my students. The course was intelligently designed and resourced with skills and interventions to use within the classroom and individual counselling with adolescents. The facilitator has given so much and so generously. This course has given me so much, personally and professionally. I am very grateful.
Very positive experience. Great handouts. Loved the experiential work. Using art as an intervention was very powerful. Very practical course and already putting these skills into practice.
My experience of this course gave me a deeper and fuller understanding of applying mindfulness with CBT. Before the course, I thought these modalities were like oil and water and didn’t mix.
