An eight-week course for employees and volunteers working in community, voluntary and charitable organisations.
finding the space is designed to facilitate employees and volunteers to learn and enhance skills in self-awareness, resilience, reflective practice and authentic leadership. This course teaches core competencies from Mindfulness, CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (values and committed action, vision and mission).
The programme is fundamentally transformational and helps participants to develop reflective and philosophical skills to understand their role, presence, and leadership style. Learn essential skills for managing change through dialogue, reflective practice, inquiry, guided discovery and dialectical approaches (DBT, wise mind) by creating the space to lead.
Build resilience: Multiple research studies have demonstrated that mindfulness decreases anxiety, boosts resilience, and helps reduce work-related stress.
Emotional intelligence: Brain-imaging research suggests that mindfulness helps strengthen the ability to regulate emotions with stronger immunity and physical health.
Creativity: Research suggests that greater insights and breakthroughs take place when staff are in a more meditative and relaxed state of mind.
Relationships: Mindfulness helps to enhance mood, manage reactive emotions, and increases connections with team members.
