The New Year Retreat is open and free to participants who completed eight-week Mindfulness training with the Mindfulness Clinic during 2016.
This one-day reflective retreat draws upon the world’s great meditative and wisdom traditions to present an engaging and practical programme with the invitation to wake up wholeheartedly to the abundantly, richly textured fabric of everyday life as our primary spiritual teacher.
Following the age-old tradition of taking time at the beginning of a new year and reflect on what really matters, this retreat is about starting anew and moving into the new year with vision, focus and intention. The facilitator skilfully blends meditative traditions into an easy and humorous programme through mindfulness, the practice of seeing every action as an invitation to awaken meditative inquiry, wise attention, intention and resolution.
The retreat includes mindfulness and the wisdom of the body and senses, insight meditation, loving-kindness, compassionate presence, quiet practice, still-point meditation, and wisdom drawn from the Sufi, Buddhist, Tao and Celtic traditions. For further information, please contact email@example.com
